Imani Seunarine (she/her) is Multiracial Latina mother, wife, daughter, and avid sewist. She combines her experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and love of sewing on her sewing blog www.pintuckpress.com. Imani and her family navigate life with chronic illnesses through the integration of traditional and modern medicine. This journey changed the course of their lives and helped to shift her perspective on pathways to healing.
She holds a Master’s degree from Northeastern University in Counseling Psychology with concentrations in Gender, Culture, & Political Psychology and Health Psychology. In her career she explores how trauma, health, gender, and culture impact healing outcomes for the children and families she serves. She proudly serves in a behavioral health not-for-profit in her community.
