Hi Mujeres! We have a special series as April is Autism Awareness Month! Part 2 of our series features guest, Anissa. Anissa shares with us her journey of her first born son, Jayden, and his diagnosis of autism at the age of three. She's a great mother and loves sharing and embracing Jayden's abilities. Anissa wants to bring awareness for mothers, parents, and everyone that having a child or a loved one with this diagnosis is not a burden but is a way of seeing a different world in the eyes of a person on the spectrum. 

"Jayden is 4 years old and was officially diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of 3. Although he can not speak, he has come such a long way by communicating with our family in other ways. He will either bring objects he wants to us, or take our hand and walk us over to something, such as the door, to let us know he wants to go outside. He loves music, jumping on the trampoline, looking at books, car rides & holding hand. Anyone who spends time with Jayden will tell you he is the biggest sweetheart and most laid back kid ever."
