Episode 49: Being Unleashed To Lead And Thrive With Olu Olabode

Listen Later

On the 49th episode of The Unscathed Life podcast, I have the incredible honour of having Olu Olabode with me.  Olu Olabode, also known as The Purpose Midwife, is a Certified John Maxwell Speaker, Coach & Trainer based in Beautiful British Columbia in Canada.

Olu has a mandate to help people, particularly Women of Faith, Female Leaders and Pastors’ Wives to UNLEASH themselves, birth their God-given purposes and thrive in it whilst impacting the lives of others.

On today’s show, Olu speaks on how good can come out of seemingly bad situations, as we hear of her personal experience of having her son was diagnosed with Leukaemia when he was just 10 years old. She speaks at length about what it means to hold faith and believe for good even in the darkest of times.

We also speak at length about her audacious desire to help, at least 10,000 women over the next 10 years thrive doing what they were created for. With commendable vulnerability Olu shared about a very dark time in her life which led her to contemplate taking her own life and her healing journey since then.

Olu’s desire is to see leaders in ministry live lives that are unencumbered by socio-cultural dogma which limits them from living as the highest expressions of themselves. Being a Pastor's wife herself, Olu gives us unfettered access into what it can really be like and how she thankfully overcame to fulfil her God-given purpose.

This episode will challenge you to live wholeheartedly and become all that you have been called to be.
