David Sheingold is a singer songwriter based in Boulder "Million dollar views" Colorado. He was in Austin to play a SXSW showcase at the Lemon Lounge with Andrew. They recorded the podcast as part of their practice. We learn about David's lifelong relationship to music, and his late realization that he had a voice and could make a record. Then he went on a 40 day house concert tour with Ken Stringfellow from REM. Andrew met him while he was on tour with Sam Rae Sidwell and they had an epic jam. What goes up must come down though, and we take some time to talk about the other side of being a working musician, being mostly unemployed, and in Portland.
