We often seek God in many seasons of our lives for guidance and direction, only to ignore it and do what is right in our own eyes or what proceeds out of our own mouths. The prophet Jeremiah ran into a group that did just that: they wanted Gods guidance, but ignored it when they got it. The warning signs were there from God as to what would happen if they didn’t listen, but they called Jeremiah a liar and proceeded to do what they felt like doing.
