Black and Tan

• 6 ounces lager or pale ale
• 6 ounces stout

Slowly pour the lager into a chilled beer mug, and then slowly add the stout.

Alabama

• 1 ounce brandy
• 1 ounce Cointreau
• ½ ounce fresh lime juice
• ½ teaspoon sugar
• Orange twist

Shake the liquid ingredients and sugar vigorously with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Twist the orange peel over the drink, and drop it in.
