No Safe Harbour, part of the Dear Canada series from Scholastic, is another solid, educational read which once more proves why we're such fans of the series. The terrible story of the not-well-enough-known man-made explosion at Halifax during WWI isn't entirely easy to learn about, but it's certainly important and as accessible to middle grade readers as possible.
