The Oscars 2022 - I know, like me, you had no idea it was even on - so when them messages started flying into the group chats in the early hours of GMT and you quickly went to social media to verify, it soon became apparent that it wasn't all a dream. Yes the world famous MIB agent Will Smith wasn't feeling too fresh after host Chris Rock made a GI Jane joke at his wife expense. To Smith the joke was so distasteful that he channelled his inner badboy and decided to walk on stage and slap any further jokes straight out of Chris Rocks mouth. But was he justified in his actions or is there never an acceptable reason to lay hands on a man for saying words you may find uncomfortable...even if it is in defence of your wife? As for the joke, how far is too far and should comedians have boundaries when it comes to their craft or are we all just a little too sensitive now days?
