You Can Trust Yourself

Episode 49. Romanticizing Every Day & Inviting More Joy Into Our Lives

Listen Later

Welcome back to another episode of The Meg And Maggi Podcast! We are so happy you chose to press play today.

This week we are talking about the concept of romanticizing and loving our lives. And not just saying we love them, but actually loving them.

There is so much that goes into loving our lives, and as you’ll hear us talk about multiple times in this episode, we personally don’t always love everything about our lives at all times.

There will always be pain in life. There will always be tough times and less-than-ideal circumstances.

We can’t expect ourselves to go from a place of not loving our lives to a life we love every day. A flip like that is possible but isn’t sustainable.

How can we shift our thinking and focus more on the good and on the life that we want instead of everything that is going wrong?

Some questions to consider:

  • What do you want your life to look like?
  • How can we add more joy to our day in simple ways?
  • How can we become the person that has the life we want today, instead of waiting?
  • Today’s big idea is to get curious about your life.

It’s on us to shift away from our negativity bias and take actions every single day that bring us closer to joy, love, and untimely the life we want.

In order to do that, we must become the person who has the life we want before we have it.

We hope you enjoy today’s conversation. If you found this episode valuable, please share it with a friend. Your support helps our show grow and for that we are excrement grateful!

    Love,

    Meg & Maggi

PS - we planned to talk about work/entrepreneurship in today’s episode but decided to do a follow-up instead to give that topic the space it deserves!
