Happy Labor Day!  

We gave Varg the day off. But Jeff and Alli came in for the overtime. Temping with them this week is Engineer Pat. Because he happened to be sitting there.

Segment One

Mitch Landrieu says Happy Labor Day. We aren’t sure if he knows what that means.  Also we aren’t sure if he’s running for President. We know he has a “fund” though. So that’s something.

There was a storm or a thing of some sort in the Gulf while we recorded this. It got a little stronger while we were talking, actually. It got weaker during the editing process, though.  

Election 2018! We try to talk about some of the things on your very boring local ballot this fall but fail to cover it all because for some reason we have a lot to say about the very boring local races.

Segment Two

It is football season now and therefore we will say football things. Recap of LSU/Miami and Notre Dame/Michigan. SEC rivalries. Who do you hate losing to? Also Auburn sucks. Coach O’s unique motivational techniques.

Finally, a few words about the New Orleans Saints and the post-modern aesthetic.
