When we have desires that are not the desires of God's will, that is when we need to yearn after God and His ways. Society has gotten people to desire lifestyles they cannot afford, make changes to their bodies because a celebrity talks about it, or having desires of the flesh. The devil is always lurking and trying to pounce on the opportunity to take advantage of us. Here are some scriptures I found to help us keep on track with God.

"You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor's." - Exodus 20:17

"O God, You are my God; early will I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You. In a dry and thirsty land where there is no water." - Psalm 63:1

"My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God." - Psalm 84:2

"You want what you don't have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can't get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don't have what you want because you don't ask God for it." - James 4:2

"May He grant you your heart's desire and fulfill all your plans!" - Psalm 20:4

"And let the one who hears say, 'Come.' And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price." - Revelation 22:17
