The Word doesn’t say "for God loves a giver", it says "for God loves a cheerful giver". In other words, get your heart right! Don’t give grudgingly or out of obligation. Don’t grumble about it, or do it hesitantly, or with fear and anxiety. Give cheerfully...and make it a habit. Tune in for some ideas!
