Audie Gemora is considered to be one of the main pillars of Philippines theater. He has starred in various local productions of major plays and musicals in the 1970's and 80's such as West Side Story, Pippin, Amadeus, The Fantastiks. He has also played the lead role of the original Philippines production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat for ten years. He has become a stalwart of young talent in the Philippines by founding Trumpets Productions. He is presently the Entertainment Director of Solaire Resort in Manila and continues to perform as a professional singer. He also happens to be my uncle; my fathers younger brother. We discuss his beginnings in high school as a theater performer, my images and memories of him as I was growing up, the various stages of his career and what the future holds after the Covid era.
