In this episode, Joey hosts Davi Ortega to discuss his latest project: DDX, The Distributed Database of Anything. Davi explains the fundamentals of the next release of the Open Index Protocol (OIP), and how it can be used to create an infrastructure that allows anyone to build a distributed database of anything in minutes. Davi also gives the audience a demo of two databases he created for his unique use case. Davi, as a Postdoctoral scholar at Caltech is using DDX to publish over half a million electron micrographs of environmental samples in the only open public space on the internet: The FLO Blockchain.
