Bernie Rogoff, a long time resident of Colorado, is originally from New York
where as a boy he played a Robin Hood role, doing what he could to help
people who were less fortunate than himself.
Bernie served in the Korean war as a medic, joined the National Guard,
and later helped create a successful business. Currently, Bernie serves on
a number of committees: The Colfax Community Network, the United
Veterans of Colorado, he’s a commissioner for Veteran’s affairs for the City
of Aurora, as well as being the Executive Director of the Education
Foundation of the Colorado National Guard. These roles allowed Bernie to
display his compassion, generosity, and ceaseless hard work. In the
Podcast, Bernie tells the story about how he met Barak Obama, and gained
the funds needed for the new Veteran’s hospital.

education. Veterans have a special place in his generous heart, and he has
supported many veterans and educational causes for years.
Bernie is a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather who is not
afraid to speak up and voice his opinions. He can often be found with his
partner Jean Greenberg cooking hamburgers ar t picnics or bringing treats
to community gatherings.
