Kerwyn Phillip, MBA

Kerwyn Phillip, MBA is a Brooklyn, New York native who earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Morgan State University and his Master’s in Business Administration from Averett University.

He is the author of Malik’s First Job: Financial Principles For Teens - the story of a teenage boy going for his first job and soon realized he needed some guidance on how to manage his money.

He is the Founder/CEO of KHUFU Entreprises, LLC, an organization that teaches leadership, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy to youth in underserved communities. He is also the President of the Youth Business Exchange (www.y-be.org), which is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports youth entrepreneurship.

In addition, Mr. Phillip is a Hip Hop Historian. He shares his passion for the genre through his “Hip Hop Youth Empowerment Workshops”. The purpose of these workshops is to highlight the impact that young people have had on the birth and growth of the billion-dollar Hip Hop music industry. Mr. Phillip currently resides in Central Virginia with his family.
