The first BIographical drama about the building of Hersheypark.... No, no. There is no chocolate in CANDYMAN, and actually, there's not a lot of candy. There's a dashing villain played by Tony Todd with a huge hook for a hand and he has a lot of bi bees. There are medicine cabinets that open into other apartments. There's a really awful professor. There's a really nasty toilet. And it's from a story by Clive Barker! (FYI, he's a really famous horror writer.) CANDYMAN spawned a franchise, including a reboot/sequel/remake/whatever in 2021.
