On this weeks episode I talk about the dreaded and oh so common, mom guilt. As a first time mom I let the mom guilt eat me alive and ultimately control my decision making, but not anymore. Now as a seasoned mom of two, this is something I of course continue to struggle with, but have become well equipped with tools and mantras to handle those emotions when they come up and ultimately ditch the shame we feel when putting ourselves first. I discuss the importance of setting boundaries, for yourself and your kids in order to be the best mom you can be and why it is so important to prioritize yourself! Everything we do is for our families and that includes taking care of US.
