After 7 seasons of guiding Rylee Owens is no stranger to the seasonal work life. Living in and out of her car she worked as a ski/ snowboard instructor, wakeboard instructor, backpacking guide, climbing guide, and taught surfing just to name a few! Now living in North County San Diego, Rylee is still very much living #lifebeyond9to5 splitting her time between working at a coffee shop, starting a juice company, and mentoring a group of local groms. Inspired and passionate about mentoring the next generation, Rylee has planned and organized a cross-cultural Thailand trip flying the local girls she mentors in San Diego to Thailand to teach a group of orphans she met while traveling in South East Asia how to surf.
