In Episode 5 of the Stranger Conversations Podcast, we speak to Lindsey Richter.  Lindsey, a former Survivor contestant (Season 3: Africa), said being on the show was the best and worst experience of her life.  It was the worst because of the humiliation of watching herself on television and seeing how she was portrayed on the show.  This experience stoked struggles with depression and self-esteem.

Along her life’s journey, Lindsey found mountain biking.  She was able to use being on the bike as a catalyst to change her life and to help overcome her struggles.  She ultimately became a professional in the sport, which led to her new passion, empowering women by getting them into the sport of mountain biking and teaching them the skills they need to hit the trails.

Today, Lindsey owns and operates Ladies AllRide.  She traverses the country teaching mountain bike skills to women.  She promotes the sport using the emotional component of how mountain biking can change your life and help you find strength and power within.  As you listen to this episode, you can hear the confidence Lindsey now has in her life.
