★Break out:

Break out is used when something begins or starts quickly or suddenly, often without warning. One meaning is in the case of war, fighting, or other undesirable things which start suddenly.

To open or start using something, often implying that it is being kept hidden or stored until it is needed.

  • As tensions escalated, a fight broke out between two rival soccer teams on the field.
