On this episode we are talking to a special teacher as we prepare to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! Ed Anderson is a music teacher, certified ESE teacher and Director and Lead Instructor of Mt. Dora Capoeira.   Listen in to his heart-warming story of his struggles and successes as an adult with Autism,  a parent of son with Autism, educator for those with special needs and small business owner.

Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian Martial Art that combines the elements of dance, acrobatics, music and spirituality. According to Wikipedia, Capoeira was born out of the melting pot of enslaved Africans, Indeginous Brazillians and Portuguese influences at the beginning of the 16th century and is a constantly evolving art form.
