Eddie Burke Jr is our guest on this episode. He is a rookie in the 2023 Iditarod, has won two 200 mile races, placed 3rd in Kobuk 440 and finished a handful of other races. Eddie has only been mushing for about 4 years and can credit his rapid success to his world class sled dogs and mentorship from veteran mushers Aaron Burmeister and Tony Browning. Of course Eddie gets some credit too, after all he is in charge of training, conditioning, feeding, and caring for the dogs and his race preparations. The kennel name is Alaska Wildstyle Racing.
