This episode, titled "Faith, Flight, and Resilience," features Chuck Hoyle. Born in 1952 in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Chuck grew up in a devout Christian home. His love for sports and aviation led him to the U.S. Air Force Academy, where he strayed from his faith but later found his way back.
After a tragic plane crash left him paralyzed, Chuck's resilience only grew. He became a foster parent to ten children, participated in adaptive sports, and got involved with a nonprofit offering water skiing opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Chuck now lives with his youngest son, Tyler, while staying active and engaged in his community.
