For only the second time in history the NYC marathon wouldn’t take place.  The first in 2012 due to hurricane sandy and also in 2020 due to the Covid pandemic. And yes I was due to be on the start line on both occasions. It makes me ask the question? How many other who were going to attempt the vent back in 2012 hadn’t yet been back to try and we also meant to be on the start line? There can’t be many of us? 2012 – the story – the right decision – making it count day out with dad - I went on to do my first marathon in 2013. 2020 – the story – made sense Reggie, new nephew, family house – Covid – right decision
