You look up at the Moon and it feels impossibly far away.

If you jump, you fall back down.
If you throw a ball, it comes right back.

So how did a rocket not fall back to Earth too?

Where does all that power come from at the start…
and why does the spacecraft mostly drift through space after that?

How do you slow down with no air, land on the Moon,
and then somehow make it all the way home again?
