Let's use the basketball example because for the WNBA the Women's Basketball Association, they had their championships recently.
Candace Parker a WNBA premiere player has tons of reasons why she should stop playing basketball. She's had 7 knee surgeries and a herniated disk in her back and many other physical challenges. So she's a perfect example for today's podcast. She took a chance and went to play for the Chicago Skye WNBA team after spending her career with the LA Sparks team.
Chicago Skye had never won a championship however she was a star player with LA Sparks a team which has won several championships.
In this season's championship game, Chicago Skye came from behind and won the WNBA Championship. Candace helped them make history with all her pain and challenges. She rebounded literally on the court and in life.
