In this episode I interview the very interesting Dr Tamara Russell.
With two PhDs and a blackbelt in Shaolin Kung Fu she is a neuroscientist, author, clinical psychologist, martial arts & mindfulness teacher and leading innovator in the well-being space.
Tamara talks about the challenges of training at Wu Dang mountain in China, the joys of practice in Barbados, mindfulness teaching in Brazil and using Nimcha swords in Morocco.
She tells me how she uses techniques she's learned through her years of neuroscience research, psychology, martial arts and her own creative practices to help people at her Dragon Academy and how her different approaches including Mindfulness through movement can be especially helpful to people with ADHD.
As with all my guests she picks 5 tracks and tells me why they mean something to her.
