Ceramic artist, photographer, and school chum James Schwarz and I went to Even Stevens for dope grilled cheese sandwiches that neither of us realized were filled with green chilis. Then we discussed his path through various art forms, including his belief in research, his transition away from theatre, and the struggle of being too art-minded for the engineers but too engineering-minded for the artists.
