John has over 20 years of service in the Navy as a diver and has operated in cold-weather training for Naval Special Forces in Alaska. John is a self taught hunter and has been doing so since he was young. Being a hunter and serving in the navy, has helped give him the skills necessary to be in the position he is in today with Sitka as their Big Game Product Manager.
