When disciples encounter life problems, what should be our solution? Check out these three simple steps to have mountain moving faith that overcome every obstacle and perseveres in the face of hardship!
Scripture Gem: "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them." ~ Mark 11:23
This passage in Mark 11:23 holds wisdom as simple as ABC on how to have mountain moving faith. This scripture gem shows us that we must A. listen, B. speak, and C. trust God to overcome every obstacle and persevere in the face of hardship.
A. Listen
Encountering problems in life is inevitable, but God has a solution. The first practical step to overcoming obstacles is to listen to God. Take the time to pray and read scriptures to know God's solution for your problem.
Reflection: When I experience hardships in life, my initial reaction is to go to others or God?
Everyday Wisdom: So, every time I experience a problem: pray and LISTEN to God's wisdom.
B. Speak
The words spoken over our lives has the power to change our situation. We must speak the truth of God documented in the promises of Scripture against every obstacle before us.
Reflection: What is an encouraging scripture verse I can memorize to declare to problems that may arise in life?
Everyday Wisdom: So, every time difficulties arise: declare the words of Scripture against them!
C. Trust
Mountain moving faith partners with trust to help us stand strong until we see the manifestation of God's promises in our lives. Disciples who overcome every obstacle and persevere in the face of hardship trust and believe that God will bring solutions to our problems.
Reflection: Write a prayer to help you remember God's ability to fulfill His promises.
Everyday Wisdom: So, everyday: trust God to fulfill His promises!
Put these steps into practice every day and you will overcome every obstacle and persevere with mountain moving faith.
