Laurie Proulx has lived with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis since she was 14 years old and the disease impacted all aspects of life, like school, work, pregnancy and parenting. She currently works part-time for the Canadian Arthritis Patient Alliance (CAPA) as managing director. She works as a consultant where her work focuses on patient and community engagement, knowledge translation, and health and social policy analysis.
