This episode is the 2nd in a mini series about pregnancy loss. For my 2nd guest I have The American University of Rome's Professor Emerita Kathleen Fitzsimmons. I met Kathleen as a student when attending AUR. In addition to continuing her service to AUR by championing alumni outreach she also works with the Girl Scouts of American Abroad program. In this episode, Kathleen shares her experience of having a miscarriage in Italy almost 30 years ago.

My hope is that this mini series will bring to light an often hushed topic and let other women going through this know they are not alone. The more we share our stories with others, the more we help them to heal.
