Episode 5: Professional Isolation and Dehumanization, Chapter One: “Must Be Nice!” 

In this episode, Dawn and Alan break down some personal experiences of “must be nice.”   This episode is part of what will be an ongoing discussion on all of the little things that contribute to the feelings of isolation and dehumanization professionals experience.  Every time someone says, “Must be nice” we feel dismissed as human beings and it puts us in a lonely corner.  We have to forget the people who say this and find a community of people, even if its fellow professionals, with whom we can have open communication about our lives.
