That starts with a conversation with two law professors at McGeorge School of Law - Leslie Jacobs and Mary-Beth Moylan - who are experts in free speech and campaigns, respectively. With them, we talk about the rights of protesters and the intersection of campaign contributions and public perception of public officials.
We also talk with State Assembly Member Kevin McCarty (D-AD 7) from Sacramento, CA about the impact the shooting and protests have had in his district. We also talk about his push for independent investigations of the use of deadly force.
