Hello dear listener, Welcome to episode 5 of the songranting podcast where I do my best to answer listener questions from my mailing list, social media (and this very show) revolving around the topic of songwriting. I recently received a question from a singer friend of mine who was just starting out with songwriting and wanted to know more about song structures. I thought that this is something that doesn’t get discussed much and thought it’d be cool to talk about the two sides of understanding structure. In episode 4, I broke down the specific sections that make a song ( Verse, chorus etc) and now today we are getting into the other side of the equation which is the organization of all of those sections otherwise known as the song form.
