Our featured taphophile for October is Sam Beetler II, the Conservation Coordinator for the City of Savannah, Georgia's Department of Cemeteries. We discuss the challenges of cemeteries and tourism, the role of cemeteries as places of education and public art, Sam's extensive experience learning about conservation in the global community, and the power of art and preservation in the community.
