1946 and 5 children are out playing in the woods near Albion Falls when they discover what appears to be a pig lying in the brush. Upon closer investigation they discover it's a human body, but this body was missing its head and limbs.

The Torso in question belonged to a missing man named John Dick and it didn't take authorities long to track down his wife Evelyn, who had some pretty interesting theories into who had sealed her husbands fate.
