In John Chapter 4, we read about Jesus' conversation with a Samaritan woman, a woman who had no hope of fitting in or belonging, a woman who was desperate, a woman looking for earthly satisfaction. Yet Jesus, putting aside cultural rules, met her and made the greatest statement about Himself. We also see the power and truth of His Word in a miracle, the saving of a young boy's life. One conversation, face-to-face; one sign, performed at a distance. Both both us to our Messiah.
