They discuss how designers think differently, working from outside in, crafting the user interface to visualizing it and finally bringing everything together to delight customers. Design thinking is not just for designers, but developers, product managers, marketers all making user success the center of their work and the different disciplines coming together around this common value system.  Charlie talks about the designers backgrounds and how there are Anthropology majors who learn how people think and use our products and bringing this insight into designs ensures that the products usable, and needed. Andre and Charlie discuss the "make to learn" process that the design team uses to tease out what the customers want, sometimes by finding out what they don't want. They discuss the complexities of designing for the hybrid cloud - how to bring together disparate capabilities into common models in order to deliver exceptional products.
