"A Question of Price" is without a doubt, THE most important story of Book 1. At first it may just be the story of Geralt at the banquet of Queen Calanthe of Cintra. However, this story not only sets up the most important short story of Book 2; It also sets up the Netflix TV show's (rather confusing) Ciri plotline. More importantly, the main novels constantly allude to this short story. Combine the importance of the story, with the brilliant dialogue between Geralt and Queen Calanthe, it becomes no wonder why it took Tony and Danniella, your hosts, over two hours to break this story down.
