After a bit of a delay, due to extreme busyness on my part, Indigo Artists is back, with our first ever man! Peterborough based artist and all round lovely human Tony Nero. He and I chat about his very diverse artistic practise, whether you need to define what kind of artist you are, plus he reveals a shocking Goya fact! (possibly) We also get into how some good friends encouraged Tony out of his artistic comfort zone and opened up some exciting new opportunities for him, and the extra responsibility of being a role model in the community as an artist of colour. Give it a listen - lots of great stuff here.
Sorry for the slightly less than ideal sound on this one - I’m still learning as I go!
Check out Tony’s art on Instagram: @artoftonynero
As always, check out our gallery on Instagram: @indigocrow gallery, and me, your host here: @hannahabstracts.
You can also find lots of info about upcoming exhibitions at the gallery on our website: www.indigocrowgallery.com
Thanks as always to Michael Kheng for tech support.
