In the early 1900's, Mary Mallon emigrated from post-famine Ireland to the United States in hopes of a chance at a better life and quickly found employment as a cook. But everywhere that Mary worked, sickness seemed to follow. Mary was on the run from typhoid fever, but would it catch up with her? Or would she be the one who would get away?
