Today’s Learning Objective: We will list attributes of an effective educator and rank them by importance to typify the ideal teacher.

Mrs. B tells us her district’s not-B.S. plan to go back in the fall. Mrs. B  and Mrs. W. discuss the top ten attributes that make an impactful teacher. Things discussed that didn’t make the list include horrible name memory, being an “edu-tainer,” brain science probably supporting the idea that having a cluttered desk means you’re a better teacher, and making wild conjectures about how many calories you burn in the classroom.  Mrs. B recommends some great books, and Mrs. W talks about her love of laminators and clipboards.
