Amanda talks to Kaitlyn Farmer and Jason Cruz of RAW Art Works, a youth arts organization in Lynn, Massachusetts, rooted in art therapy.

At its core, RAW Art Works believes that all kids should be seen and heard and that everyone has a story to tell. Kaitlyn and Jason discuss the value of the arts programming and leadership training at this powerful non-profit. These programs offer kids a safe place to express themselves through art and authentic conversation. 

Youth in Lynn experience poverty and crime rates that are among the highest in Massachusetts. A significant portion (84%) of the teens involved at RAW have experienced some kind of childhood trauma. At RAW they can create, meet friends, impact their community, and develop the skills they'll need for a bright future.
