PBIS is a complex system that takes time to implement and sustain. It involves changing the culture of your school community. It will require ongoing effort and dedication to ensure that all students benefit from its implementation.

That’s why school district leaders need to think about PBIS in terms of a multi-year implementation to ensure that the program is sustained long-term and that the desired outcomes are achieved.
