For our 50th episode, we decided to get musical! The theme for our double feature this week is characters born of glam rock.
The first film we cover is 1998’s Velvet Goldmine – a dramatized/fictionalized telling of David Bowie, Iggy Pop, and others in the height of the glam rock movement!
The second film we review is 2007’s Control – Anton Corbijn’s biopic of Joy Division’s front man Ian Curtis. (He listens to and is influenced by Bowie, so the connection is there!)
Check out all the awesome musical feedback this week too!
