Joshua Thomson is a saxophone player from Detroit, MI who currently works in Austin, TX. He is involved with many projects including Atlas Maior, Micah Shalom & The Babylonians, Indimaj, Cilantro Boombox, and the Boombox Brass. Andrew met him through Roberto Riggio's World Jazz Fusion jam, and has played with him in the Go Organic Orchestra recently. They play some out there jams influenced by Indian and Middle Eastern music. They talk about making it as a gigging musician, Josh's experience of being a minority in High School, and experiencing and synthesizing the music of other cultures.
