This week has two messages in one! We all make mistakes but instead of getting down on yourself for those mistakes, use them as stepping stones to get you where God wants you. In connection, you have to keep the faith when those mistakes happen and your trying to correct them. Here are some scriptures for both messages:
Turn Mistakes into Stepping Stones:
"Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, 'Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save you." - Isaiah 35:3-4
"But on Mount Zion will be deliverance; it will be holy, and Jacob will possess His inheritance." - Obadiah 1:17
"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13
"The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in Him." - Nahum 1:7
"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." - Psalm 73:26
"I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong." - 2 Corinthians 12:10
Keeping the Faith:
"Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see." - Hebrews 11:1
"I wait for the Lord, my soul awaits, and in His word I do hope." - Psalm 130:5
"A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished." - Proverbs 28:20
"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16
"For we live by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7
"You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only." - James 2:24
"Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in His prophets and you will be successful." - 2 Chronicles 20:20
"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." - Romans 5:1 I hope you enjoy this week's message!
