• Another fraudulent win -- Vikings 5-1 despite being 13th in offensive EPA/play, 13th in defensive EPA/play and 17th in DVOA
  • Offense
    • 3 and out on 10 (!) of 15 total drives
    • Dalvin averaging less than 2 ypc until the 53-yarder
    • Kirk largely not able to take advantage of aggressive blitzing 
      • Dolphins blitzed on 55% (!) of drop backs
      • Kirk under pressure on 42.4% of drop backs
      • Ingram and Bradbury struggled one-on-one
      • Pass pro miscommunications
    • Dolphins defense: WRs not separating
    • But a few explosives make up for inconsistency: switch to 21p play action for 1st TD drive, 47-yarder to JJ on wheel route, Dalvin Run
  • Defense
    • DL feasting: pressure on 24/55 (44%) of drop backs, largely with dropping 7 (only blitzed teddy twice)
      • Z (11 pressures, 2 sacks), Hunter (6 pressures, 1 sack), Patrick Jones (2 sacks, 4 total pressures), big Dalvin
    • P2’s best game in years: 1 INT, 3 PBUs, gave up 3 catches and 2 were contested and one was in the flat on 1st and 20
    • Sully struggling vs Tyreek
  • Special Teams
    • 73 yard punt
    • Metellus and Asamoah force stop on punt fake on 4th and 1
    • Reagor with a 25-yard return

  • Vikings suck at communication protections.  Miami keyed off the half slide with double mugs
  • How Miami’s fronts and blitzes stopped Dalvin and kept Kirk under wraps
